Enter your loaded boat weight, the water you fish and your bow height. We suggest the thrust, voltage and shaft length to shop for.
Plan how much raw meat to buy and roughly how long the cook will take. Cook times are rough guides at 225–250°F; always cook to internal temperature, not the clock.

How the numbers work
A common rule of thumb is about 2 lb of thrust for every 100 lb of loaded boat weight, with more for wind, current or big water. Higher thrust motors usually move to 24V or 36V systems, which means more batteries.
Shaft length depends on how high your bow sits above the water; too short and the prop breaks the surface in chop.
